Christmas Shoppe

Every year, Whatcom Dream opens up our Christmas Shoppe for graduates of our Financial Empowerment courses. In the Christmas Shoppe, students can shop for brand new toys and gifts at a 75% to 90% discount from the retail price.

Why do we offer gifts at a discount instead of giving them away? 

 

When graduates participate in our Christmas Shoppe, they give others the opportunity to become financially empowered. It is a way to “pay it forward” so we can support other families in our community. All proceeds from the Christmas Shoppe go to our Financial Empowerment scholarship fund. These funds cover the costs of our financial education courses. 

 

Individuals who come to the Christmas Shoppe are treated to budget-friendly holiday shopping, free gift wrapping, and more!
